Daily Ball Run — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
Daily Ball Run ("we", "us") publishes a daily animated ball race on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Viewers can predict the winner of the next race by commenting, using free virtual points. This policy explains what information we handle and why.
The points are not money
Points are free. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, prizes or anything of value. No payment information is ever collected.
What we collect
We only process information that you post publicly on our videos, or that the platform provides to us about our own account:
| Information | Where it comes from | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Your public username / handle and the platform's user ID | The platform, when you comment on our video | To keep track of your points balance |
| The text and time of your comments on our videos | The platform | To read your prediction (e.g. RED 100) or balance request (points) |
| Your points balance and prediction history | Created by us | To settle predictions and show the leaderboard |
We do not collect your email address, phone number, real name, location, contacts, or private messages, and we do not use cookies or trackers. Your identity is never linked across platforms — a YouTube balance and an Instagram balance are separate, even if they belong to the same person.
How we use it
- Settling each day's predictions and updating balances
- Replying with your balance when you comment
points(we don't reply to anything else) - Showing top usernames and point totals on the end-of-video leaderboard (if you are on the leaderboard, your public username and points appear in the video)
We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else processes it
- The platforms themselves (YouTube/Google, Instagram/Meta, TikTok), under their own privacy policies
- Google Cloud Storage holds each day's video for a few minutes while Instagram downloads it (the video contains leaderboard usernames and points, nothing else)
The points database itself is stored on a computer we control.
How long we keep it
Points balances and prediction history, including the text of comments
we recognized as a prediction or a points request, are kept while the
game is running so results can be checked if disputed. For any other
comment we keep only its ID and time (so it isn't processed twice), never
its text.
Deleting your data
To delete your data, email davidassistant93@gmail.com with the platform and your username. We will remove your balance and prediction history within 30 days and confirm when it is done. You can also remove the comments themselves on the platform at any time.
Children
Daily Ball Run is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process information from them. If you believe a child's data has been recorded, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
